Macro Monday:: Week 8

I was slightly stumped this week. I think I need to get out more, I’m running out of interesting ideas, which is not good in week 8. My day job has inspired this post. I come across a lot of color, patterns and textures. I hope you enjoy!

I saved my favorite for last. The blues, purples, and yes even some yellow = LOVE!

These could have used a little more editing, but I think that takes away from the assignment a little. I’m always open to constructive criticism though!

They say insanity is one step past the line of genius. Currently, I think I’m on the wrong side of that invisible line. Random “philosophical” thoughts in toe, I am speaking faster than ever, stopped eating meat and have found my self living in the room under the stairs painting, drawing and writting whatever comes out of my head. A scary thought I know.

Life has really thrown me some ups and downs this past years, heavy on the downs. You really do find out who your true friends are when you go through toubling times. I have found it is time to branch out, try new things and meet new people. Life it way to short, a mere blip on the radar compared to the life of our universe. While I can’t change this, I can recognize it and put my life in perspective.

Moving forward:

An experiment in finding myself. With doors locked and lights out I have come to ask myself what I want out of life, who am I and what will truely make me happy. Throughout this turbulent year I have learned a lot about myself and gotten a little closer to my inner voice. As the new year apporaches I hope to further explore my passions and how they fit into the world; rather than exploring the world and see how it fits into my passions.

Through this self talk and conversations with my husband we have decided this next year will be filled with adventure and commitment to eachother. We hope to uncover a little more of our purpose in this world, help those around us, take all opportunities at face value and explore our surroundings.

Stay tuned:

I will be putting together a list of a few photowalk adventures I would like to explore with fellow and local photographers.

I am also working on updating and linking all of these various websites I’ve accrued.

Watch out for new pictures being post. School is out and I have a lot more free time. I’m doing my best to catch up!

Input please:

If you have any photowalk ideas or places you like that my husband and I should check out let me know. I am open for ideas!

For those of you who read these and check up on me regularly, thank you! You will notice I deactivated my facebook account. I did not like how it was effecting my mood, various realtionships and time spent. I am currently wresting with the idea of whether I should reactivate it. It seems in this world of fast paced lives and interdependancy on technology and subsequently social media it will be vital in getting my name out there as I explore and grow in my photography and art in general.  Again, any thoughts on this regarding how you may proceed would be greatly appreciated!

Until next time,

Be inspired. Live boldy.
