Haiku Tuesday

Life: Do what you love

these days So sentimental

be what you love: Art

This haiku is inspired by my current life’s conundrums and a blog a ran across today. So inspired to be everything, create everything and just be.

@ThePanicRoom your blog, photography and movie series are amazing. Something to live up to, something to try in the future. I love your work!

Be Inspired. Live Boldly.

p.s. I wish changing was easy! To be who you want to be rather than be molded into something you’re really not…I can’t be fit into a box!

  1. Karl is taking an interesting Japanese art class and it is so fascinating because, from what I understand, the Japanese don’t technically have a word for “art” the way we do, because it is considered in many professions to be the way you execute EVERYTHING you do. That is how we get sushi. Beautiful. 😉

    • So art is life and life is art. To be beautiful and do beautiful. Interesting!

Kate was almost there… The word for “art” as we define it didn’t exist until relatively recently in Japanese culture. The way they would describe a master painter or sculpter is the same way they would describe a sword maker or chef. The quote is “we have no art. everything we do is art.” Something to live by if you ask me.
